At Medvin Labs we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal and health information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our service, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account details - name, phone number, email, date of birth, gender.
Address and booking details - collection address, scheduled slot, notes you add for our sample collector.
Health data - tests booked, sample results, and any medical history you voluntarily share.
Payment metadata - transaction references only; card numbers never reach our servers and are handled by Razorpay.
Technical data - IP address, device / browser type, pages visited. Used for site reliability and fraud prevention.

2. How we use your data

To fulfil your bookings - scheduling sample collector visits, processing samples at NABL-accredited labs, and delivering reports.
To send booking confirmations, report notifications, and reschedule reminders via WhatsApp and email.
To improve the service - aggregated analytics only; we never sell individual data.
To comply with applicable Indian laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

3. Who we share data with

We share the minimum data needed with:

Our NABL-accredited partner laboratory (only: sample, patient name, age, gender, and test panel).
Razorpay for payment processing (no health data ever sent).
Interakt / WhatsApp Business for message delivery.
Authorities when compelled by law.

We never sell your data to advertisers, insurers, or third-party marketers.

4. How long we keep data

Test reports are stored for 3 years from the date of collection, per ICMR guidance. Account details are retained while your account is active; you can request deletion at any time at info@medvinlab.com.

5. Your rights

Request a copy of your personal data.
Correct or update inaccurate information.
Delete your account and associated data (subject to medical record retention laws).
Withdraw consent for promotional messages.

Exercise any of these by emailing info@medvinlab.com - we respond within 7 working days.

6. Security

All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Reports are delivered via signed links that expire in 7 days. Our systems undergo periodic security reviews, and access to patient data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and cart persistence. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some functionality (cart, login) will not work.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. Material updates will be announced on the homepage for 30 days.
